  If you are looking for a lender who will go to bat and fight for you, look no further than Joel! Our buying process had one hiccup after another (VA surprise stipulations and appraiser problems) Joel was there fighting for us every step of the way, making sure that we would be able to close on our dream home! Thanks for everything Joel!

  Started off as a referral from my real estate agent. The initial intake was easy. But once I was dealing with them, it felt a lot more like a huge company as they started referring me to others in the office to deal with issues, only confusing things. I had specifically taken the time to send details of my VA Loan eligibility but they wasted time doing their automatic forms, only to get them denied, then tell me how things were held up by the VA. I then provided them the paperwork I had already told them I had, and they started moving forward again. Then at the end, I had very specific details about how to apply the funds. At the last minute they gave me an excuse AT closing about how they couldn't do as I asked (instead of communicating that to me before we were at closing) and just 'applied the funds' to 'buy down' my loan. In other words, they used the funds I expected to get back to help offset costs, and stuck it back in the loan and left me short on cash at the end. Then they immediately sold the loan off to a huge bureaucratic company that I'm stuck dealing with now as my 'servicer'. Do yourself a favor and avoid using them. If you want local service, find a local bank / credit union you know and trust. If you want big bureaucratic approach deal with mega banks. Joels Loans provided us the worst of both and I completely regret using them.
