Two years ago I came to Johnson mortgage after a difficult time in my life. They helped me through the process of getting a VHDA loan that my credit union could not. Not a penny came out of my pocket. This is the second time I’ve used their services and I’ll continue to use them in the future. I write this with my sincere gratitude for their help. Like finding a good mechanic or plumber Johnson Mortgage is my first stop for my real estate needs.

So let me explain. They were very responsive and helpful in the loan process, however, I was NOT told that my mortgage would be immediately sold! At closing I was handed a piece of paper (which I had to sign) informing me that my mortgage (that I didn't even have) was already being sold. I went with Johnson Mortgage because I thought I was dealing with my local bank. Now I have to send my mortgage payment to a "Mr Cooper" at a PO box in Texas. Sounds like a scam to me and I will do some investigating before I send off my payment. Here's an update. Yes, "Mr Cooper" exists, however they are, as the recording says, "a debt collector". Thanks Johnson Mortgage for selling me to a debt collector. And, after almost a month, have no record of my mortgage! So I am supposed to send a mortgage payment to a PO box of a company that has no record of my loan. Sounds reasonable to me!
