  Gina Schnitz's communication was unprofessional. On numerous occasions she ignored calls and emails from my realtor and the sellers. I would call to follow up and she would always tell me how she was just about to call me. I feel like if I would not have been urging her to perform her duties, nothing would have gotten done. Instead of taking responsibility for anything, she constantly played the blame game. Our closing date was changed twice because things were coming up that should have been realized earlier, and she didn’t seriously start working on them until closing week. She says she has been doing this since 2004. Our credit situation was not free of blemishes, but it is not horrible either. For someone who has been in the business for 16 years, it should have handled more seamlessly. This experience of buying a home was 3x worse than our first time. The only reason I did not go to one of the other banks that we had pre-approval for, is because of the down payment assistance.
