  My husband and I have opened several loans through them. Our payment history is perfect, we have always paid and always paid on time. We have had a car loan, personal loan, and a home loan approved with a lot of paperwork and proving to them we will pay as we always have. We called recently to get a loan figured out as I have had a health diagnoses and for a few months we had no choice but to use credit cards to help with the time off my husband had to take. We are now above water with it and ready to have a debt consolidation loan so we pay less monthly and less interest. They need us to prove with bank statements and full credit card statements because our credit scores and payment history and history with them in general again is not enough. I call Union Bank and they offered us less interest, less payment per month, and no required statements and they don't have to review all made purchases in order for us to be trusted. I feel like you never truly build a mutual relationship with them, so I will no longer be doing business. I do understand a credit union uses the members money and a bank uses ample amounts of other money... I do understand the difference... but when the payment offered is a little less than what we pay now and we've never missed, our credit is good, our loan history is perfect... what is our bank statement and credit card statement going to show you?
