  If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. When we closed on our refi with Loan Depot, I specifically said I didn't want an escrow account since most mortgage companies mess up the property tax and insurance payments. I prefer to budget those expenses myself and pay them myself. However, they told me I HAD to have an escrow account because they want to make sure the taxes and insurance gets paid. Well, I just got a notice from my county saying my property taxes are delinquent and I've been charged a late penalty. I checked my escrow balance with Loan Depot, and sure enough, I have a huge escrow balance and they never paid my taxes. I am so mad!

  10/10 would recommend working with Justin Williams and his team at loanDepot! Great communication and an individualized experience. 😄 Our experience with loanDepot was unique due to the corona virus pandemic. We met Justin through our builder, we spoke over the phone and eventually met in person. Justin was straight forward and patient with us (we asked a lot of questions). He knows his stuff! He readily communicated with our agent, the builders agent, and me and my husband. Throughout the building process, Justin checked in via phone, email, and text to explain any hiccups, updates, or rate changes. There was never a time we couldn’t get in touch with him within 10-20 mins. He answered calls while hosting his daughter’s homecoming activity and responded to my calls and texts when in Hawaii with his wife. Our build didn’t go through and we found an existing home that Justin helped us finance. He has always followed through and is very thorough with details, documents, and deadlines needed. We know he has many other clients, but he made us feel like we were the most important while talking with him. Prior to our house hunting adventure, my husband and I heard horror stories about lending companies. loanDepot proved to be phenomenal. We will work with Justin in the future and would highly recommend him to any potential homebuyers!
