  I had the worst experience I've ever had with a mortgage loan company. I first spoke with Jonathan Dominguez. I was very clear with him that our situation is not the norm - we have a very low loan to value mortgage - and therefore a conventional load would not work for us. I also said that my rule of thumb for costs is this: I need to break even in two years or less. He assured me that he had a program which would accomplish my goals. I spent 30 - 45 minutes with him filling out the application and he pulled my credit. When he called back he laid out his proposal which involved me taking additional money out for the loan. He did not present any costs, but the numbers did not add up to me. I asked him about costs ... Then he told me the cost for the loan (about 5% of my existing load balance). Those costs are equal to the total amount of interest I have yet to pay on my loan. I said no. His reply made me think I was in a car dealership - "What would I have to do to get you to agree to the loan tonight?". I said no costs. He said he'd take it to his manager (sounds like a car dealership right?). The manager offered to remove the appraisal fee (on a loan to value of < 20%). Wow! What a bargain ... NOT! I said no. I have been hounded for the last two weeks with 2 -3 phone calls a day. Sam Edam told me last Saturday that he would put me in the Do Not Call List. I just got off the phone with Victoria Sharpe. She neglected to tell me that we were on a recorded line until we were a couple of minutes into the call. She also said that she will put me on the Do Not Call list. Don't walk, but RUN away from doing business with this unscrupulous lender.
