      I wrote a check to someone and this bank made me go in to verify my signature. Every check has a signature and there is no reason I should have had to in to verify. They said it was a legal issue which is incorrect. I’ve literally reposted hundreds of thousands of dollars of these checks over the years. No bank has ever questioned them. If the bank has a question, they can call to verify or deposit and wait for it to clear just like any check.
