  Remember the time you walked into a car dealership and the salesman told you they could get you in a brand new car with the same monthly payment? That’s the kind of impression I got from Marcus England of Verity mortgage. A friend used him as a lender and passed me his referral, I asked him to quote me a refinance and he sent me my monthly payment on a 15 yr and a 30 yr. I asked him twice, over email and text to send me more information on closing costs and terms so I could start to evaluate his offer and he just chose to remain silent. Now one week later, I’m pretty sure he has forgotten about it. Mind you, this is just the initial quote, I can only imagine what a nightmare the underwriting process would have been. Dodged a bullet with some time wasted but oh well, you learn and you live. Came here to review my experience and the only other review is a one star. Save your time, there are plenty of other options on the market.
