      I had been a Chase/Wells Fargo customer for 13 years. I had NO idea all of the benefits of joining a credit union until I had to find a new bank, due to a new location. I found MFCU and will never go back. Marine Federal is so personable and helpful. Real people are constantly available to help whether it’s chat, on the phone, at a branch, or at a Live Teller. I just financed my car and my interest rate is more than HALF of what it was through Wells Fargo.

      We are done with Marine Federal and are changing banks. Progressive took money after we canceled our car insurance which caused overdrafts. Progressive owned up and told MF to stop payment, but MF refused to do that and were quite rude on the phone and never emailed the promised dispute form, so my wife has had drive there after being on hold for over an hour. Terrible customer service. Bank anywhere else.

      It is the first Monday after payday and there are 2 tellers working. There were 3, but 1 was told to go something else when there were 3 people in line. When she walked away there were 8 people waiting. Not very customer oriented behavior.
