      As a local Realtor who has been in the Southern Maryland market for over 12 years both as a mortgage lender and a Realtor, I only recommend Maryland Trust Title because they have the solutions when we have complicated problems. Although it is rare, when problems arise, they can have huge ramifications. When you really need solutions to complicated problems, you need someone like Mark Davis (Attorney/Owner) who can solve them. Time and again MTTE goes above and beyond to make a way. Besides that, they have beautiful offices in all the necessary locations around SOMD and the staff are great. I highly recommend Maryland Trust Title.

      Sitting at the table on settlement day, we had to have docs reprinted because the mortgage company listed for payoff, wasn't our mortgage provider. Then, I had to call 2 days after settlement to ask where my proceeds were because we hadn't gotten them. I had to send multiple emails about funds held in escrow for a water bill only to find out they sent the request for the reading to the wrong place. So the reading did not take place until 2 weeks after we had moved and already settled on our house. Even better is the part where I had to argue with them that I was not responsible for the days I didn't live there. We had more funds held in escrow for a window that needed to be replaced. I was never notified that the new owner canceled the install appointment until I called and asked where those funds were. It was done a week ago, apparently but Maryland Trust and Title still hasn't processed the refund of all my Escrow funds. So...here we are almost a month after settlement and I just had to make another call to ask were my money is....I will not use or recommend this company to anyone EVER!!!
