      I have happily, enjoyably and very gratefully used their loan "closet" (really a staffed office with computerized inventory and sterilization chambers big enough for wheelchairs) a few times for my aging parents. Their temporarily loaned sterilized durable medical equipment such as wheel chairs, walkers, crutches, and commodes, etc. are especially helpful during periods of surgical recovery that last longer than the insurance company thinks they should. The counter staff is uniformly helpful. The overall process is exceedingly simple. In some cases there is a nominal deposit, which I am more than content to leave as a donation so that they might continue their fine work for the community. The location is perfectly beautiful atop the bay's eastern bluff. A fantastic resource for our area and I can't say enough good about it in all my experiences here. FYI this is a service organization and they choose to close at noon so be sure to check posted hours rather than assuming they might be open.
