      I have been a member for 35 years now (from back in the DAFCU days!). I have always had excellent service and support from Members 1st. I have never had an issue with a mortgage application, home equity loan, car loan, my accounts, their website, and especially customer service. I simply do not understand the number of negative reviews. It has *never* been my experience.

      Refinancing my vehicle loan for a lower interest rate and Members1st policy is to add $5,000 to the loan since nothing else was changing. The $5,000 was payable by check to me but would raise my payment signficantly instead of decreasing which is the advantage of a lower interest rate. This is nuts! I have no idea who would put this kind of policy in place. I will be taking my banking needs elsewhere even though i've been with members1st for over 20 years. Way to look out for your long term customers Members 1st.

      They recently built a taj mahal headquarters in Enola. Its no wonder their rates are no better than anywhere else and their fees are high. Someone profits but its not the members.
