  Horrible experience. I accepted an offer for my home towards the end of July, client had pre approval letter and a conventional loan. Everything went smoothly until appraisal came back and all of a sudden we were changing loan from conventional to FHA. Closing was pushed back once, and then another time two additional weeks and then an additional week. Lender was not responsive at all and kept saying "we should be able to close by x date, everything is looking good to close". Turns out 3 days before closing date buyer did not have enough for down payment and pulled out of sale..Waste of time and money.

  I rec’d a offer on my home from a Midwest Community Bank client who applied for a home mortgage. On November 10th, I took my home off the market pending financing contingency, the buyer had pre-approval. We were to close on December 11th, then they requested December 18th, then they requested December 28th. Claimed they were waiting on employment verification ?? Phone calls were not returned and emails went unanswered. We called the owner of the bank and still no response from lender. On December 31st, we received a credit denial. My home was off the market for 7 weeks, their clients paid for a lawyer, appraisal and inspection, all to find out it was no deal. This bank wasted both of our time and money and I certainly wouldn’t ever recommend this institution for a home mortgage.
