      After filing taxes with Mimi we didn't receive the anticipated tax return. I Called her multiple times and couldnt get a hold of her. After days of trying she finally picked up and when I asked why I didnt receive the tax refund she said she doesn't know and everything on her end was fine. When I pressed further she yelled at me and then hung up. I called the IRS next and after 2 hours hold, they said that the tax file submitted had an error and was rejected, the tax filing agency was notified in April. I asked what needs to be fixed now and they said the corrected version was submitted on May 26, 2018. Guess what day she hung up on me? MAY 26!!!

      To say the least be very careful with reviewing what is claimed by this preparer versus what claims you put in. I got a call from the tax department and shortly found out the filed amount was way more than I actually filed, not being a tax preparer or having much knowledge about the filing process (Hence why I came here for professional assistance I can trust) I had no idea she over filed without me ever knowing nor asking for anything additional that what I truly spent. I was very shocked, and concerned when I found out, being a rule follower and never having issues especially intentionally. Long story short I was charged, and reached out to her for assistance, as most tax prepares per the tax department would actually help with the charges considering its not the tax filers fault, but after kindly reaching out to her regarding the charge I got no response . Never, coming here again as it's not ok to put an innocent person in trouble with the government or law in general. Mistakes happen fine, but at least take accountability and offer to pay for the errors that were made on her behalf (email was ignored). Will go to someone that files with integrity and professionalism next time. Also I was not the only one who was in this situation. Not a surprise.
