Travis is an all star! We have worked with him on several transactions that have gone smoothly and he was able to provide us options that best fit our situation at the time. Travis is super responsive so you never have to worry about waiting around or losing out on a place because of timing. He also takes the time to educate his clients so we feel comfortable with the information and decision we are making.

Lonny Cain was our (my mom and I) lender and everything started out well. Before I chose Lonny as our lender, I mentioned that I will have questions because I am not experienced and asked if there is a conflict of interest because he is friends with the seller. He reassured me that he is detailed, there won't be any conflict of interest because as the client I will be the priority, and that this is a small family business so he would love my business. The first 2 weeks were good. Lonny ended up in the hospital the weekend before the 3rd week, which was never an issue for me, but he made it my issue. We discussed signing the loan documents in the 3rd week if every issue was resolved, specifically, termite, violation on the unit, and litigation. Come Tuesday of the 3rd week, we had a call because I mentioned I wasn't comfortable signing the documents when there were issues I was waiting to hear back on. In this call, he lashed out at me saying that he should be in the hospital but instead here working on my loan, he called me unreasonable and uncooperative because I wouldn't agree to sign the loan documents (again with the issues still lingering). I tried to explain why I am uncomfortable signing the documents, he told me that I am not allowed to talk because he is speaking and I need to listen. He told me that we just need to sign the documents and will deal with any issues later. l had to explain to him that his health is way more important than signing any documents, he did not need to put blame on me for why he wasn't in the hospital. He did a 180 and apologize for being unprofessional and that he really likes working with me. I then reiterated I am not comfortable signing the loan documents (we were still early, beginning of the 3rd week), he again got mad at me. I called my agent and told her about this interaction and she offered to call Lonny to discuss and understand why he is rushing to sign the documents. Whether she believed me or not when I told her, she believed me after we had a 3-way call with Lonny. The reason for the 3-way call is because what I had told her is the complete opposite of what Lonny had told her. The 3-way call with Lonny lasted 6 minutes. I mentioned again how I was not comfortable signing the documents on Wednesday and felt rushed. There is a $250 charge to regenerate the loan documents because I "confirmed" the day and now want to change it. My agent stepped in and said that there shouldn't be a reason for the $250 charge when I have said multiple times, "All of these issues need to be resolved or have a solution before signing". Lonny then came at her, telling her that she is not allowed to speak and interrupt him while he's speaking. He added "I am not confrontational and won't stay on the phone arguing with two women", and then proceeded to hang up on us. The way he had talked to us women (my agent and I) clearly shows his misogynistic views on women. When we met Lonny to sign the loan documents, he told me I should reserve all my questions for him instead of asking the notary and just sign the documents. I told him I don't believe in signing anything without understanding what I'm signing. A question came up, we asked Lonny, and his response was that he doesn't know and we should just sign it. Lonny has been in this field for years, yet he could not dedicate less than 5 minutes to look at the numbers and help provide an explanation for the $2k difference, the notary looked at it for a min or two and was able to point out where the difference comes from. I have talked to Patrick Cain (the owner and I believe Lonny's brother) about this entire experience. Patrick apologized for Lonny and mentioned that Lonny should have passed my loan off to someone else especially since he has medical problems (Lonny told me he was the only person that could answer my questions) and that Lonny's work has not been up to his standard for awhile now. Lonny does not have the professional magnitude to separate personal and professional obligations. Unfortunately, I do not recommend Morgan Home Funding.

Travis has helped me with purchasing and refinance multiple times and he is amazing to work with. His rate is very competitor and he is very responsive to any questions I have. He also spends the time to explain to me anytime I have any questions.
