  Although I had a bad realtor she did good by recommending Donna at MIG for my lender. I was out of state and Donna had great communication with me throughout the process and assisted with details I had on adding an additional large payment to my loan (recasting) once I sold my house. I was originally going with a big bank for convenience. Donna price matched and did her best to assist with avoiding delays...we closed within 30 days! My job was being a little difficult to provide documentation for remote work and she guided me on what alternatives I had. There was small hiccups with the title process and she assisted with that. Again, great communication and would highly recommend Donna and her team at MIG.

  I do not recommend using this mortgage company. They did not inform us of the correct date when a home appraisal was going to be done which ended up costing us $590. They knew we had extended our home inspection time frame due to problems the seller was possibly going to fix. They did not give us the correct appraisal date and therefore we had to pay for an appraisal of a house we did not end up buying. We had no contact with the appraisal company. This was all done through the mortgage broker. Instead of refunding the whole amount they charged us, they only refunded $290. It was their mistake not ours. The mortgage broker (Brian Thorne) we worked with didn't even try to get us our money back until we specifically asked him to reach out to his supervisor and ask. We should have been refunded the whole amount.
