  Working with Movement Mortgage has been nothing short of a living nightmare. When we first started working with Justin Atteberry, despite not having great communication from him, everything seemed to be going smoothly. After finding a new home and getting a preapproval letter, we decided to put our very first home of almost 8 years on the market. With having two toddlers, we felt that it was time to give them more space and also wanted more room to expand our family. We put our full trust in Justin but soon learned that was a big mistake. The day after selling our beloved home and day before closing on our new one, Justin ripped the floor from under us. If it wasn't him asking for last minute documents that he had "requested" from an employer weeks ago, (and finding out it was never requested) it was him lying to us and our realtor over and over again or just plain not doing his job. The builder that we were working with was gracious enough to extend our contract but Justin never got us to the finish line. Instead, he left our little family with nowhere to call home and felt no remorse in doing so. We lost what we thought was going to be our forever home, lost thousands and thousands of dollars in earnest money, lost sleep wondering where we were going to live and how we were going to stay positive for our kids. We ended up getting with another lending company and wanted nothing more than to get out from underneath a company that never had our best interest at heart. We requested a withdrawal on our loan application so that we could move forward, however when we received that document, we learned that not only was it filled out incorrectly but it was also submitted illegally. Confused about it, we reached out to Justin who assured us that "the underwriter probably chose a random reason so that they could 'kill the loan' quickly". Come to find out, we now had an MCR attached to our file that could potentially make it very hard for us to be accepted by another lender. Wanting to get this issue fixed, we asked Justin for his uppermanagemet contact information and that was like pulling teeth. Eventually, Justin's boss, Matt Konlande contacted us and was apologetic about what had transpired but ended up not helping in any way that would benefit our situation, nor was there anything done about the fact that his loan officer didn't do his job in a professional and timely manner. We are sharing our story to hopefully reach others and prevent them from going through the nightmare we are living in.

  Matthew and Neal did such a wonderful job getting our mortgage together. Excellent communication and super fast response times. Will absolutely do business with again and recommend to everyone I know!
