      My husband and I weren’t told that our mortgage loan type changed from VA to FHA until after we had the home inspection done. After we were given the reason why it was changed (which was reasonable) and I was told about a second mortgage was created for our down payment; I didn’t like the idea of a second mortgage, but it is what it is. Now for the closing cost, we were was originally told that we needed 8-9k which was fine, but with the new loan type it’s now 11k….. All of this would’ve been fine, if we knew about the changes ahead of time so we could be prepared and maybe even settle for a home that is less costly. All in all, we do appreciate the quick responses when we do reach out.
