      After speaking to a customer service agent by phone I was told I could add my 12 YEAR old son to my account in order for him to have access to a checking I was managing for him. I visited a branch to complete this process and told the welcome person my goal, she asked his age, and told me someone would be with me but that I should instead open him his own MINOR ACCOUNT. Either option was fine with me. After waiting 30 mins the banker told me I couldn’t do anything to add him to my account because of his age and that he couldn’t open a minor account until he was 14… THERE WERE 2 OTHER OPPORTUNITIES where this could have been mentioned to avoid me from wasting my time by phone or sitting in a branch with children. I am beyond disappointed in the MANAGERS handling of this and in the support provided by phone. This bank is supposed to be a bank for military members AND their families! The consideration for my time was non existent and the consistent misinformation is extremely unacceptable!
