      I have had lots of experience with lots of banks. I even used to be a teller, and then became a vault teller. So I can say with all honesty that this place is the best. Everytime I call they take care of me immediately. I have to hold for hours sometimes at other banks but not at Navy Federal. They have always made my experience quick and convenient everytime. The reason I went there is because I have banked with the three other banks near by Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Bank of the West, and everytime I call them I am on hold for an hour. That is why I switched, I called NFCU and they did not put me on hold and were able to help me and I did not have to hold. A real person answered the phone every time I called. They offer lots of free services also like DMV & Medallion Stamp, and they did it for free because I had a bank account there. You don't have to be a Navy person either. You can just go in and open an account, they didn't ask me for proof that my dad was in the Navy during WWII. the on line application ask for that but when you walk in they don't ask for proof. They offer higher rate of return on my interest to. Super nice customer care is the best.
