  This review is about the Friendsville NBT branch manager Tammy Johnson. Tammy took the word service in Customer Service to new levels, how it should be. We are full time RVers. We lived in Brackney PA for many years and did most of our banking at the Friendsville branch. Doing business there was always a good experience because the personnel were always welcoming, friendly, and wanted their customers to feel at home. So we wanted to buy a RV lot in Florida to have a place to park our Motor Home during the winter months before touring the Northern Tier States during the summer months. We needed a wire transfer from our checking account to a escrow company doing the closing. I was told that I had to appear in person to sign the documents necessary to make that wire transfer. We are in Florida so that would have been a rather difficult and expensive trip just to sign a piece of paper. Other financial institutions have policies, methods to do this through verified secure links, NBT is not one of those institutions. To make a long and somewhat painful story short Tammy engineered a way we could have that wire transfer made safely and securely for all concerned. Kudos to Tammy for going above and beyond what she had to do.
