      My wife and I secured a construction loan on a foreclosed property that would need a total renovation. We had to meet an aggressive timeline in order to make our closing date on time. Our real estate agent recommended Loan Officer John Hersey and NBT. That recommendation could not have worked out better. The process required the completion of a lot of paperwork and coordination with lawyers, Insurance Agents, Inspectors and various other individuals involved with the sale. This was complicated further by the fact we live in Atlanta, Georgia and the property is in North River, New York. Only through Mr. Hersey’s attention to detail and excellent communication skills were we able to make the closing date on time. I will definitely recommend NBT and specifically Mr. Hersey to anyone who is looking to secure a mortgage.
