  I asked to speak with the manager Carlos they said he just got off the phone that they will connect me right to him I waited for 15 minutes on the phone while watching him standing around doing nothing inside the bank ignoring my call guess he didn't know I was sitting in my car outside the window where I could see him ignoring me for 15 minutes on the phone to where I had to walk up and ring the doorbell to get him to finally answer . the manager is one of the rudest most unprofessional people I have ever met I don't know how he ever got into management basically he has no customer service skills at all chasing off all customers when I asked him for a complaint number he made me wait another 10 minutes just to give me the number intentionally giving me a hard time making the situation worse. I'm seriously considering closing my account due to my experience with him never had any problems like this with any other nbt's avoid this bank branch he is absolutely the worst manager I have ever seen

  If you are a small business just starting out avoid this bank at all costs. We set up our account here 3 years ago and were persuaded to use a merchant services company they suggested for our credit card processing unit. They had a representative from the company come in to guide us through the process. From there everything went down hill. The representative they set us up with left shortly after and no one notified us of his absence or tried to set us up with a new rep. We were then hit with non PCI compliance fees from the merchant services company they set us up with for 2 years before noticing because no one made us aware of having to be PCI compliant. The company had said they sent us emails but when we looked further into the situation they had the wrong email on file for some reason. In this time NBT switched to a different merchant services company, while the one they set us up with changed apps, locking us out of our account until we figured out for ourselves of the changes. After all this, when we contacted NBT for support they basically said there was nothing they could do to refund any of the money we had been charged for 2 years and wiped their hands of the situation since this was a 3rd party company they set us up with. The merchant services company they had set us up with was TSYS, a 1 star rated company. Beware before you do any type of business with this bank, they do not look out for their customers by any means.
