      I sold a truck to a large dealership. The dealership hands me an nbt bank check. So, I go to the nbt bank in Clinton New York to cash. I called ahead to give notice I would be cashing a large check. Everything was fine until they tell me there was a 5 dollar fee, to cash the check, as I'm standing at the teller. Okay, it's not the 5 dollars that will make or break me. The point, which I stated to them is, why should it cost me 5 dollars to cash their nbt check, from their nbt customer???. The lady behind the desk was a bit on the unprofessional side. She said, "you can negotiate with your bank". My response was again, " it's your customer and your check!" Her response, "your not a member". So, they have 5 dollars and, definitely, not a new member. UPDATE: RESPONDED TO THEIR FEEDBACK FROM MY REVIEW. AS EXPECTED NO RESPONSE. IF THIS BANK ISNT COMPETENT ENOUGH TO RESPOND TO AN EMAIL, THEN WHY TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY????.
