  I've had no problems with this company. I refinanced with them last fall and it was a super seamless process.

  Our loan changed hands multiple times before our first payment was due. We have a loan with this company since the end of last year. The last six months we have spent filing letters on the website emailing and calling multiple departments as well as filing official complaints in writing. We have in our last home had PennyMac they were great we have our auto with Wells Fargo also great we also have with US Bank this is the first time we have had a loan of this size handled by what appears to be a call center for a collection agency with no opportunity to go into a local branch and go over specifics of the loan as well as expectations. Whatever you do if this place is not forced upon you DO NOT CHOOSE IT INDEPENDENTLY !!! There are so many wonderful places to work with and this place is like a check advance place or a very low budget collection agency you can only escalate your issues to their own department supervisors which are not able to assist in your situation and true complaints are to be filed in writing and then not followed up to or responded. We always over pay our mortgage on time. We communicated everything upfront as we awaited our supplemental tax bill and over paid escrow while waiting. They incorrectly informed us of proper procedure requirements on multiple occasions. Our supplemental tax bill is due in 10 days the money is intentionally in our escrow account to pay it and they are refusing to issue the money to the assessor or us in time to pay it. Although we have been in communications with them since last November regarding this very item and even with a customer service rep called the assessors office to confirm the supplemental bill and they "noted" the system. I would advise any and all borrowers/consumers under no circumstances choose this company. We have filed a complaint with the BBB as our account has been mishandled by this company since origination.

  This is literally the most idioc and disorganized company I have ever dealt with! They are rude, unprofessional, and can never do simple things like update mailing addresses or contact information -- you have to call 10+ times to get these simple tasks handled. Even the "supervisors" are the worst! AVOID THIS COMPANY including PHH Mortgage and Shellpoint Mortgage which are divisions of New Rez. Even getting a proper payoff statement is like pulling teeth. They transfer files from one person to another, one division to another, never update files, can't locate accurate paperwork, etc. I did not have one positive encounter with this company over a couple years (my loan was transferred to them) and am SO happy that I sold my house and never have to deal with these idiots again.
