      My income is unconventional and did not readily meet the documentation demands required for a new loan. Other lenders claimed to offer lower rates than NOVA but dropped me like a hot potato when things got complicated. Roland Scott at NOVA didn't give up on me -- he went back and forth with the lawyers and underwriters until all extra documentation was satisfied and the loan was closed. I'm grateful for the extra effort.
