Used Oak Leaf for an investment property last month. 36 hours prior to closing received a call that the underwriter did not like the appraisal from their contracted licensed appraiser even though it appraised well over purchase price. They then stated there was another loan option available. This was frustrating because I specifically ask what my options were when we locked in rates a month prior and no other options were given. So 36 hours prior to closing we had to lock into a new higher rate along with more fees than original loan. Would definitely not use them again.
