  We first worked with Tim in late 2016 regarding a reverse mortgage; he was professional, knowledgeable, ethical, and personable. However, at that time a HECM loan wasn't the right solution. We decided to revisit this option again in 2022 and were able to move forward with the loan. From the very beginning Tim was extremely helpful. Throughout the whole process he and his team went above and beyond, always going the second mile. They were always professional, and personable; we always felt they had our best interest in mind. This is a team of professionals that were a joy to work with. I highly recommend them and would consider them again if the opportunity arose. Two thumbs up!

  I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service & communication. We recently submitted an application 2 months ago, we received correspondence Informing us of the additional documents to submit as we did promptly which I would later find out it was not uploaded for nearly a month an a half. We we’re told from the beginning we would ballpark for approval roughly in the 500k, once the review process came we were actually approved for 340k which was significantly less then we expected but we would continue the process and settle for a smaller home. The lender we we’re working with up and left the company(understandably, considering who she was working for) nobody reached out to us regarding who would be taking over our loan, no response was given for the several emails that were sent in. Once I sent an inquiry through the website I was told to reach out regarding the loan & our new lending advisor. Turns out after several months of being told we we’re “approved” and looking at homes we were in fact NOT approved! I spoke with Michelle Oddo (the branch manager) and this is when I began to see the true colors of this company. I have never met a more unprofessional, argumentative, unapologetic woman and she is the branch manager???? She continued to argue with me about when I sent in documents even though I have ALL the corresponding emails of when I sent everything in and when I received emails informing me of the amount that we were approved for. Instead of a simple apology for any confusion, miscommunication, or misrepresentation she continued to argue and suggest I pull my credit. She gave me attitude and did not listen to anything I had to say! I finally informed her I will not be pulling my credit to be added to the loan, that was never actually approved, and that I would not be going further with their company. She continued than to harass my realtor, send me emails, call me, text me to “give me an update”. I have never in all my career met a more undeserving person to be in charge of finding family’s a place to call home. I would never recommend her nor her company. I needed to spread my word & my experience as this is supposed to be a happy & beautiful moment in one’s life & they gave us the completely opposite. The only relief I now have is knowing that we are not giving money to inadequate woman & company so undeserving.

  We do recognize that when a pre-approval that was previously given, is no longer valid due to updated information, it can be very upsetting. It is never easy to deliver the news that updated information received by a borrower has changed the qualifications and lowered the original approval amount. We always strive to be solution based. In this instance, we tried to deliver the news with compassion and come up with an alternative solution, however the borrower was not willing to work through the situation with us. We are disappointed that the experience was not as we always shoot to provide and we wish the clients the best in their future endeavors.

  The Oddo Group was amazing to work with! The care, time, and availability to answer all of our questions made us feel like we were the most important clients they were working with. Michelle and Carla explained things in detail and, in this crazy market, made us feel comfortable with knowing all of our loan options and helped us get to the closing table on our new home!
