  My brother obtained a loan to purchase his first home in Hawaii from Gary. The transaction came off without a hitch. Then Gary assisted me in getting financing for my second condo purchase in Hawaii. I obtained a $1.2 M loan and we closed with no problems. Gary was very professional and got the job done. His fees were reasonable.

  Gary helped me finance my home purchase in Maui and it has been a pleasure working with him. Gary was super responsive and patient to explain all the financing caveats and Hawaii specifics. Gary also provided a longer than usual mortgage rate lock (the sellers requested a longer escrow) what was super helpful during a time of increasing interest rates. We went into contract during a time that was challenging for buyers with an offer significantly over the asking price. I was bracing myself for the property appraising significantly below the offer and having to bridge the gap with cash. However, I was delighted to learn that the lender did not even need an appraisal. Everything went very smoothly and I am now very much enjoying my new home.
