  One of the worst banks I've had to date. I am currently working overseas, and have been with Omega the entire time. My debit card will intermittently be declined despite sufficient funds because I try to use it during prime hours here and Omega's system is offline for "daily updating." This is the only bank I've had that problem with (including other FCUs), and this has caused no shortage of public embarrassment. Furthermore they will seemingly randomly adjust your "daily balance" you can use your debit card for (debit, not credit) and not tell you it has changed or what it has been changed to. You may go to make a purchase that was fine before, but is now declined for "exceeding daily limit." This has happened to me as well - last time I spoke to the bank I was told my daily limit was $4,000 a day. I recently went to make a purchase for $1,960 and got the "daily limit exceeded" message. And since it was prime hours for me - the bank was closed and has no 24/7 support number, so I had to just leave the store without making the purchase after a 2 1/2 hour drive to get there (since the item I was purchasing was not available locally) and made another 2 1/2 hour drive back to my apartment. 5 hours and a tank and a half of gas wasted because of this bank. They are also currently upgrading all their systems and canceling everyone's debit cards and issuing new ones. Only problem with this for me is that my debit card was mailed to my US address and my current debit card, which was valid until 02/22 and I'm coming home on vacation in March 2022 (so the timing would've been perfect to get the new one while home on vacation), is now cancelled - meaning I have no way to make purchases or get cash out for the next four months while on assignment overseas. As soon as my car loan through this bank is closed I will be closing all accounts with this bank immediately and leaving them in my past. I do not recommend this bank unless you have a thing for public humiliation.

  Omega Federal Credit Union in Wexford, is very fortunate to have Jim Huerbin as one of their Member Service Representatives. Not only was he incredibly polite, but he showed me Top notch customer service and made me feel very welcome and appreciated. His knowledge of the membership process streamlined my visit and all questions were answered. If you are looking for a New bank and/or credit union, look no further. Go see Jim at Omega(Wexford). P.S. Ask him about Custom Made wooden projects. He has Skills!
