  0 star is what I would give if I could. Worst experience ever!! I applied online, spoke with an agent, and uploaded my documents. Everything was completed. All I had to do was come to their office to only take a pic of my car as collateral. Once I got there they denied me the loan because my job was too recent. This could have been done over the phone. I wasted gas and paid 2 tolls just to get there.

  I was told I qualified for a loan with OneMain and after taking down all of my personal information said they’d need to transfer me to someone who could finalize things. After being on hold for about 3-minutes I hung up and was immediately called back by a man who said he could finish up my application. After about 10-minutes of divulging all my personal information yet again to who I thought was OneMain and releasing them to use it for their purposes, I was made aware that this was not for a loan, but instead a credit repair service. I was surprised to say the least and told them I had no interest in paying monthly for credit services. One Main called me back the following week and I told them that I wasn’t interested in credit services. They said they never would dream to do such a thing and that’s not possible. Well I have the records proving it. These guys prey upon people by dangling the prospect of a loan and then after roping them in, sell their information to others. OneMain really pushes the envelope in subprime lending, layering its dubious practices through complicating through counter parties and subcontractors. I hope even one person reading this can be prevented from being taken advantage by their schemes.
