  I tell you what, really not sure how these guys have such high ratings. OneMain came up as recommended for me, so before applying I read their disclosures, and then proceeded to apply. I am self employed, so I checked that box, with no disclosures on what would be expected to prove income. I’ve only been an official business for 9 months, so don’t have a tax return reflecting my current income, but have purchased two vehicles in the last year (Ally/GM Financial) with both companies accepting bank statements to prove income, but OneMain won’t and does not disclose what’s required until after applying. The thing that was very concerning is I applied for $4500, they approved me for $12,500 pending received documentation, and gave me the option to share W2 or give access to see my bank account deposits, just to turn around and say it’s not acceptable. I was called my a lady at the Visalia branch who was rude, didn’t have a manager available, so transferred me to the Tulare branch, where I got equally rude treatment, and was told that I should of called before applying. This was a complete runaround, and waste of a credit ding, and it was painfully obvious that I wasn’t worth their time to even explain, without a W2.

  Don’t go to this place. This bank will run your credit, qualify you for whatever amount & make you an appointment to finalize everything. This is exactly what happened to me. I went in with Marcos to finalize everything. I was waiting when another woman came to talk to me on his behalf saying he made a mistake and we can’t proceed. The manager wouldn’t speak to me so I called him. He stated he “called me & I didn’t answer.” Which it is completely untrue because I have to have my phone on me for work at all times, nor did I have a miss call because if I did I would have not left early for work to meet with him. A complete waste of my time. Do yourself a favor and don’t attend to them.
