I have been banking with Newport Oregon C U for a few years. I am very pleased with the service I have received. My banking needs are simple, but the service I receive makes me feel I am a BIG dollar costumer. Covid has been hard on all businesses and customer service. Nevertheless, OSCU has offered the best services and met all my needs.

Most banks have hidden fees, this place is above and beyond. Absolute crooks they charge 3 times what any other bank does for statements. They were deliberately misleading about the fees for using debit cards out of state. Do not bank here.

Had to set a business acount up quick and set it up here, wish I would of went somewhere else, always a long wait, tiny parking lot, they hit me with all kinds of transaction fees when I order from vendors and part of the business world is to notarize documents and ALL my other banks/ credit unions did this free when I had an account there, this place charged me double what 3rd party notaries charge. Update: so my review policy is if a business responds kindly I give them another star for customer service but when I went in they pulled me aside, apologized and said they are trying to fix things which goes above my expectations and shows they care. Update: I've had this credit union for over a year and even tho a few staff members are nice I have had a terrible experience and will be shutting my account down and moving it to a financial institution where I'm appreciated; I've ran over 100k thru there last year and still not valued when applying for loans
