  In case you aren't familiar with home loans, these guys are mortgage brokers, meaning they shop for the best interest rates for you by comparing various rates from lenders. They act as your liaison to the lender and handle all communication that is required. I worked with Carlton to get my purchase loan and rate locked in and Chasity for all the loan processing. I was able to get an interest rate much lower than any other lender, so it was an obvious choice to go with Pacific Finance. Chasity and Carlton were both very responsive by email, and fairly easy to reach by phone. Any question that was asked was always answered same-day. Chasity was my liaison to the lender (loan processor) and was very driven to get me any and all information I need. As with any lender, as long as you are proactive and get Pacific Finance Group what they ask for quickly, then you will be fine. I live in Olympia so I never physically met anyone at Pacific, but I can attest that they are legit and can handle all paperwork via email and electronic document signing. I did receive a large delay in the processing of my loan due to poor management of the first appraisal. This is the fault of the appraisal management company and the appraiser who apparently botched the appraisal. We needed to order another appraisal with a rush status to get my loan finalized in time to close. We ended up closing 2 days later than our original closing date. My advice - schedule the appraisal as soon after the home inspection as possible. This part took 4 weeks - not to the fault of Pacific Finance Group. Pacific actually escalated the issue to some of the higher-ups at the lender and appraisal management company to get me the new rushed appraisal, so I'm appreciative of that. To sum it up, if you are looking to use Pacific Finance for your purchase loan because their interest rates are insanely low, then go for it! I closed Friday 6/3/2016 and I'm happy I used Pacific.

  Not happy with their service which resulted in my loan denial and losing the house which I wanted to buy. Alot of mistakes in paperwork seriously like my name was spelled wrong throughout even after denial (which I pointed many times). Name and address of my employer was also wrong on application. They wasted more than a month and didn't go with the preferred lender who was willing to accept my application, instead they went with another bank who rejected my loan on closing date which resulted me in losing appraisal money, the effort I made for purchasing, time and emotional stress. Not recommended at all.

  I was able to successfully refinance my home, but the lack of attention by the staff was staggering. This company does nothing illegal or unethical, but my experience was anything but pleasant. * Do not expect that anyone in the company will follow up at the time & date they say they will, you must be diligent and babysit them every step of the way. * Very little attention to detail was paid, I continually had to go out of my way to review the documents they submitted to the lender and then ask that they be corrected. Ultimately, the last straw was the refund they owed me. I was promised that it would be sent within 10 days of them receiving their commission, but two months after closing I was still emailing them weekly asking for a status of the refund. Yes, it was ultimately paid but only because I hounded them. Honestly, if you have very straight forward and simple loan they can successfully complete it. If you have any complexity I would advise working with another lender that pays greater attention to detail. I have no confidence in their ability to complete complex loans without excessive effort from the borrower. Had I not paid the $500 for the appraisal, I would've cancelled and worked another lender. Very poor customer experience, Carlton and Teresa disappointed me every step of the way.
