Stopped in being a USAA member (military/veteran bank) to do a cash withdrawal which is how to pull large amounts of cash. Was told they couldn’t do it would have to use the ATM (not too big of a deal as USAA refunds all atm fees inquiried) also had $1500 in smaller bills 10’s and 20’s asked if I could exchange for larger bills and was told without being a member they wouldn’t do it. Inquired about amount needed to open a savings account so they could and was told $250! Said no thanks went 30 seconds down the road to FIRST CITIZENS BANK who did the cash withdraw inside no ATM involved and bill exchange with no issue and got a “thank you for your service” to boot.

I would like to personally thank each employee at this branch for the compassion, respect, kind gestures and the many ways that each of you were there for him with a helping hand or an open ear. There's very few banks in this world who would do what these each of these employees did/were willing to do. There's not enough characters allowed for me to explain how grateful the family is for treating him so great and how they were willing to go extra lengths to make sure he was taken care of.
