  This is a terrible company to work with. They deliberately don't allow split payments online even if they are in advance. To set up auto payments you have to pay a month in advance. Their website sucks is always slow, never works and the only way to make a split payment is to call and wait 30 min at best. I'll never use this company again! They don't want you to make split payments because it's less interest they'll get. They'll tell it's a contract law but they'll do a split payment over the phone. Don't waste your time.

  Horrible company to work with if you ever receive an insurance claim payout. They insist checks are made payable to both parties so you are forced to endorse the check. Where it becomes incredibly difficult is getting paid out. This year i had to replace the roof to my home due to storm damage. check was issued for $12k with another 6k to be paid out once the roof was installed. The difference due to depreciation. To install a new roof would run 18k and every roofing company had a 50% deposit required to begin work. PennyMac was only willing to issue 30% of the funds from the check, not nearly enough to begin work. Money was tight and was unable to secure the remaining funds for a good period of time. We had a wicked storm brewing that had I not come up with the funds in time would have destroyed everything i owned. I called my insurance company who informed me that nothing would have been covered bc I had not repaired my roof. i called PennyMac to ask if they would have covered. the damages and they told me it wasnt their responsibility to cover the contents of my home. These guys are the absolute worst mortgage company when it comes to personal relationships. They couldnt care less about their clients as evidenced above. I called for weeks and spoke with numerous loss draft staff and at least 5 supervisors. No one helped. No one lifted a finger. This wasnt the only claim i have had to file in the past cpl years and every time its the same lack of concern. They dont give a S.....
