      Friendly, professional service from the moment you walk in the door. I always look forward to visits to "my little bank" right by the harbor. We have our personal and business accounts here. Extra bonus: stopping by the fantastic bakery next door afterwards! Even bigger issues are resolved. Take the time my debit card got stuck in an ATM in Istanbul, resulting in thousands of dollars of charges to other accounts. No one ever figured out how that happened- they'd never seen anything like it before! Nancy and the folks at Port Jeff Peoples United worked with me to fill out the proper forms and see them through so that I saw every penny- INCLUDING the foreign transaction fees- returned to my account. What a relief. I was happy to talk to the same friendly folks at the branch every time instead of having to explain the story again and again.

      Very disappointed with this bank. Extremely high fees. They access your personal bank accounts even when your business account is a corporation. Only one that ever helped me was Nancy at the port jeff branch. Issues never seem to get resolved and calls go unanswered. Tried to keep my accounts with a local bank as so many banks are closing but they made it impossible. Still have unresolved issues and very disappointed with the bank.
