  Both me and a friend opened a high interest checking account with peoples bank a few months ago and deposited $15,000 each. The entire time we owned the account, we were treated like criminals because of certain types of transactions we did which, is honestly none of their business since it’s our money. They even called to verify transactions several times and when we confirmed them, they acted like they didn’t believe us on the phone and they kept our debit cards locked for several days after we confirmed the transactions. Then, we both got certified letters today saying that they were forcing us to close our accounts. If they don’t want $30,000 to loan out to other customers, we will be happy to take our money out and go with a bank that will give much better customer service than these people. Never do business with them. Find another bank.

  Worse bank ever , I called them to see why my cash out didn’t work for cash app and I was very hostile about it because I did directly to my account. They told me the money was going to be in my account the next day which would’ve been 2 days until I received my money. The same day I called them which was yesterday I looked in my account later that night and the money was in my account. Although they told me they didn’t have the ability to make it go quicker which was a lie. That’s not the worse part now my card is being decline at every merchant , ATM and the bank. I don’t know if they closed my account with the money still in there or what but they don’t even have a 24/7 service.Also the bank is open at the main office in New Roads today 8-12pm and they don’t even have a way to contact them today. I would have to wait until Monday for a resolution on my money and that’s just unacceptable.
