Worst experience of our lives! Very negligent, incompetent, unprofessional and uncompassionate lending company. Especially, the person in charge, Heath. After one entire year of emails and conversations, they finally gave us the pre-approval letter. We are a military family and we were living out of the state. So, we travel couple of times to Houston to pick the “house of our dreams”. They made us go through escrow for almost 40 days, YES, 40 days. We had everything ready, changed schools for the kids, said bye to friends, a house full of boxes, moving company scheduled, etc. 2 days before “closing” they told us “ Your loan is not approved because your job is not from here”??? What a vogue explanation. One of the worst days of my life! We flu to Houston immediately after the news to found out he was on vacations. We also found out, this person ( who only cares about high-network clients) placed our VA loan on the hands of a young apprentice the whole time. We lost a lot of money on trips, the deposit money, the escrow money, inspection, HOA, and we almost lost the earnest money. However after 2 months fighting for that, we got it Back. I’m amazed by the great reviews this individual has, because with us, he was mean and arrogant. I was going to take legal action. However, people like that will always find an excuse for their negligence and incompetence. Their pride don’t let them see their errors. The entire process was a headache and the communication was terrible with his whole team. I don’t wish this to anyone!
