      I am new to the Piershale Financial Group, having recently left another firm that was not handling my portfolio well. I have been very impressed with the firm. Ben Barzideh, my portfolio manager, explained their system of asset management, “Advance and Protect,” in a way that was easy to understand and made sense. The staff has been first-rate, immediately returning calls if I have a question, helping me through some technology issues and keeping me posted on my portfolio. They offer in-person meetings as well as virtual. Everyone in the office is friendly, courteous and professional. I’m very glad I made the switch!

      Poor performance , unprofessional response to market question.

      Len As you might recall I emailed you your performance numbers for the time you were with us, and your account beat the benchmark. I think part of the problem is you were comparing us with 100% stock indexes like the S&P 500 and the NASDAQ, which is not a fair comparison. We compare your account with a Morningstar recommended benchmark with the same amount in stock and bonds. For the time you were with us in the first six months of 2021 you outperformed that benchmark with a ”lower riskalyze number”. There’s no way any professional in our industry would call that poor performance. And the above mentioned report also showed that from the time you started in late 2020 through when you left us in mid 2021, your returns were in the double digits and once again, were solidly ahead of the benchmark. They are very knowledgeable about what is going on with financial markets and have investing systems in place to maximize portfolio gains when markets are favorable and protect your assets when they are not.
