      Used to think highly of platinum mortgage and Ryan and his team. I’ve completed a new loan and several refinances with platinum mortgage in the past and referred friends and family to platinum mortgage. Always very happy with them in the past until about 2 months ago. Called ryan to find the best way to drop my PMI on a current loan, that’s when ryan suggested to refinance again so we decided to take a look at it and probably refinance. The process of starting the refinance this time was unlike the past. Not near as streamlined as in the past. Every time I attempted to contact ryan he wouldn’t call or text back like he had in the past. When he would respond he’d say just finishing with a client and that he’d call in 10 minutes or so but never did. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, however it continued and I couldn’t get a straight answer from from him or his staff. This is right around the time rates were starting to increase so again thought he had a lot going on and was super busy with regular clients so again I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt so I called and spoke with Casey whom said he was home sick that day. I decided to stop in anyway and guess who was at his desk working? You guessed it, Ryan. If you don’t want to work with me just tell me!! ANYBODY CAN DO A SIMPLE REFINANCE!!! It’s not rocket science!! So even though he was “sick” we discussed what was going on with rates, I was leaving on vacation for a week so we decided to wait and he’d get in touch with me after I was back. I’ve been back for 6 weeks now with not a call, text or email regarding my refinance from anybody at platinum mortgage. Obviously rates are now to high to refinance and make it economically feasible to do so, so I’m back now where I started, just wanting to get rid of my PMI. Guess I can figure it out on my own and should’ve done from the beginning instead of wasting my time with platinum mortgage and ryan gubler.

      I have worked with numerous Mortgage companies over the years. Working with Cassy and Platinum Mortgage was a pleasure compared to dealing with one of the large lenders like Chase and Wells Fargo.
