Update: 01-17-2022: Lots better service now, still a way to go, but this bank is superior to the other big banks. PNC has the capacity to become the premier US bank if it continues on it's path. Keep it up PNC! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have tried to open an account for well over 2 months. Called the bank, was told they would be able to open a PNC account on 10-12. Went in on 10-13 and was told, they are not ready to open new accounts. Was told to do it online. Attempted to open online and their software claimed I was a risk of identity fraud. No option to ask questions, no recourse, just basically we do not want you as a customer. What a horrible way to introduce a new bank, PNC, to the area by running off potentially new customers - without an explanation. And by the way, I was going to maintain a fairly substantial balance. PNC, you lose here, bigtime!
