  I needed a personal loan for a home project, and needed the funds quickly! Stephane was helpful in walking me through the loan process. I was approved in minutes at a great rate, and a payment plan that worked with my budget. I typically use my PNC account for checking, and now I have a source for all my financial needs. Great job!!!

  I called earlier this morning about a personal loan, and to check their hours. The woman on the phone told me they were open till 5, I asked her to recheck the hours because it seemed bizarre for a bank to be open past 1 or 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. She had confirmed a second time for me that they were open until 5:00 p.m. Today, I showed up 10 minutes to 2:00 p.m. To just be turned away as they told me that They would not be open past 2:00 p.m. This level of incompetence and customer service is absolutely appalling, never will I go back to this bank again.

  Very disappointed with customer service. I took my MIL to PNC to close her account, due to having to relocate to another state. Instead of the teller pulling the funds and issuing cash, she printed up a cashiers check. After asking where we were supposed to cash a cashiers check, she stated at the bank she does service with. PNC WAS my MIL’s bank. And now in order for PNC to cash the cashiers check that they had just issued, it cost my MIL a fee because her account was closed and therefore she was no longer a member. I sure wish I had thought to then tell her I would like to open an account now. And have my MIL sign her check over and deposit it back (like the teller suggested we should do whereever I might do my banking) Our bad we didn’t think to say we’d like to withdraw before we said we’d like to close account. She knew full well we were pulling money out thus the issued cashiers check. All of this through drive through at that (per instruction from phone clerk when we called to ask about the process during Covid). Shame on them!
