  My husband and I bought a home back October 2021 and used the title insurance company priority Settlement Group of Texas based in Austin. We live in San Antonio. This year we received a surprise letter from the Bexar County tax office that the house we bought we owed back taxes from 2017 which totaled $12,754.34. We called PSG of Texas and spoke to Celeste. After research that took weeks with no update we finally got an answer saying they had their attorney send a demand letter to the seller that they owe back taxes on the house, and of course No response from the seller. Celeste advised us to file a claim with Fidelity. Which is the reason we buy title insurance for. Again after a couple of week they finally come back saying they will pay the taxes for 2017-2020 but we are responsible for all of 2021 which is around $3,500. We bought the house October of 2021 which we should be responsible for those 3 months. I contacted Celeste via email and asked to speak to a manager or someone above her. She just ignored my email and I have yet to hear from them. Priority Group will not due their due diligence to make sure transaction is done correctly. Stay away from this title company. It’s very wrong we are having to pay back taxes for 2021 with late fees assessed and penalties.

  Worst company ever! Warning ⚠️ stay away from this company. Especially Jenita! Boy can that woman lie! Told us if we closed before 3 p.m. on our funds would be in our bank.. well that was a big lie! Then she stalled on our funds to be wired with an excuse that she was waiting on a document from the buyer,which was a lie cause buyer had already closed 25 minutes after we did 😒
