  Horrible customer service. No communication skills. I had to keep reaching out to get answers. Do not recommend them to refinance a mortgage.

  Buyer Beware I did 3 refinances with Monster Loans, now called Proven Mortgage. The first refi went off without a hitch so I trusted two more refinances to be done by them. The following two were a complete nightmare. refi#1: took 3 months to close. I was told by ML (monster loans) my refi would close prior to paying the month's mortgages. I was charged late fees both times because they failed to meet their deadline. ML told my insurance company not to collect the old mortgage company's insurance premium because it would be paid by them at closing. They failed to close at a predetermined time and did not notify anyone to get the insurance collected. My old mortgage company threatened mandatory insurance and my insurance company threatened to terminate the insurance. It took three different visits with the attorney to sign closing documents at three different times. At the final signing of the deed it had my spouses father as my husband. The closing department told everyone that they would not be able to update the deed until the following week because they were busy. The loan processor had to dig out the deed that was signed at the first appointment to close it out. I received a phone call from an appraiser who was trying to do a drive by appraisal on my property... I signed closing documents two days prior to the phone call. This caused the 1st signing to be pushed back form another month. There was no communication on the status. I ended up having to call the manager of the company to find out what was going on. I never received an apology or a refund (that was promised) of late fees I had to pay due to them not being able to close. The numbers that was given (and signed for) were different than the numbers at closing. They were higher than discussed and I was never given a phone call as to the difference. I tried to call and no answer. refi#2: Loan took 3 months to close. The initial closing disclosure was different than the final closing disclosure. The final payment was higher than originally discussedThe loan processor took two months to collect information that should have taken 2 weeks. We signed the closing documents Nov 1st. The old mortgage company paid the taxes on Nov 6th. ML did not fund the loan until the 2nd week of November and paid the taxes that was collected at time of signing. The taxes were double paid and should have been reimbursed. Now its Mid-January and I have sent multiple emails trying to find out where the double payment of tax money is at.
