I have been with this bank for decades oh, I like that it is small and I like that things are still personal here.

Sheer and utter incompetence, it's actually surprising this institution is still operating. They keep making incorrect deposits(on one occasion they have deposited another person's money in my account, mind boggling), incorrectly calculating escrow balances, constantly sending letters of errors requesting deposits back due to their mistakes etc. I have never dealt with a bank like this. Stay away from Provident bank!!! Their conduct should probably be reported to the consumer affairs. I give them one star for automatically cancelling an inactive account after 45 days which I was going to do anyway, however, it is surprising they will just close it without any communication. You've been warned.

Worst bank in the world please don’t put your money here!!!!! Bank robbery and every employee is not trained and doesn’t even know their own policies!! Please please please bank somewhere else!! Save yourself the frustration!!! Even wells Fargo is better and they stealing money !!
