  After a stressful start to my mortgage process, I finally found my Mortgage Agent Angel in Kimberly Hope! She was curteous and professional from start to finish. She completed my mortgage process in record time and made sure everything was in place for a smooth transaction.   This review is about the banking side of Quontic bank. Perhaps the mortgage area is good or people are writing good reviews about their friends. I opened up three different accounts at Quontic online. One was a savings account which gave you 1% on your balance if you did 10 debit card transaction a billing period. First you had to wait for the debit card. Then you had to wait for them to send you a pin in the mail. You could NOT get a pin any other way. So how could you use your card? Finally I recieved my pin and began to use the debit card. After a few charges the card was declined. In the evening I called the bank, but they are ONLY open like 9-5 Monday through Friday. That is pretty awful when your card is declined. Finally when I did get through they wanted to identify me. I gave them my social, my address, my name, but they wanted my bank account number. Who carries around their bank account number for a debit card? When they asked for my initial deposit I told them the correct amount. However the person could not calculated my initial amount because interested was added already. All I wanted to know was why my debit card was declined. They finally said I did not have money in the accoun, which I did have money. However, they froze my account. Why I still do not know. But they wanted a copy of a bank statement of where the money came from. Then they would unfreeze my account and I could use my debit card. So basically they say make 10 debit card transactions a pay period then they freeze your account and do not tell you. So now they do not have to give you the 1% on your money. I asked them to close my account. That they said could be done online only or via email. Well online and email is not secure to me. I would NEVER use this bank and I would never reccommend this bank no matter how much interest they gave me. It almost seems like a scam. I hope you find this helpful.

  Kimberly Sheppard-Hope & Quontic Bank was absolutely incredible. Kimberly was beyond helpful and made the process so smooth. She was an amazing communicator and really made someone like me who had NO experience and had no idea what to do truly understand every step of the process. She was open and willing to explain and be there for us from the beginning to the end and made this process not only smooth, but also really enjoyable. She is an amazing person as well, so please ask for her if you want an amazing experience!!! Thank you!!!
