  Mike is an amazing lender at RateSmart! He understood my situation with getting my new mortgage set up and off the ground and was beyond willing to help make everything happen. Mike looked at everything and helped get me an approval letter for my new home on a weekend in the late hours of the night, so there is no going without saying, he is really working for you when he wants to help you get approved for a new home! He was also very patient as I waited for specific paperwork to come in, and helped get everything lined up perfectly so I could have a quick and easy process with signing a new home. Don't go to anywhere online, definitely go here to have someone who will be personable with you, and actually look at everything to help make sure you are getting the best rate possible with a new loan!

  Initially, Mike responded to me after 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening. On Sunday afternoon, he walked me through all of the different loan options and explained the terminology that I was missing. He is not your average loan originator, but is dedicated to finding the best loan, at the best rate and ensuring that you know exactly what is happening throughout the process. He even helped me with negotiating fees with the title company so I could use a local company that I had already been in contact with. They weren't the cheapest but Mike was able to show me the fees of another title company to provide to the one I was using and they matched the closing costs based on having that information. It wasn't a coincidence that I came across Mike. After having a less than stellar experience with another mortgage lender, I did my research to find out who THE BEST person was in my area. After reading about other experiences with Mike, I knew I had to speak with him. He has since gone out on his own and now runs his own show so I had to dig a little to find his contact info (he has since updated it). I have already referred him out. Even though this particular house didn't pan out, I will be absolutely reaching out to him when I find the next property. Have no reservations if you are looking for an honest and transparent lender. I have found him!
