  If I can give this place 0 stars then I would. I put in an application after being pre-approved and received multiple calls from Todd at Regional Finance. I worked until after 6pm, so I was not able to give a call back until this week (about 3 weeks from initial application). After calling, he then told me that I needed to put in another application and was very demeaning over the phone. Because I do need this money urgently, I continued with the application and after submitting it, he told me he would have to call me back because it needs to be sent to the manager. 24 hours later he never called me back, so I called to follow up and he tells me it wasn’t approved and “sorry”. He couldn’t even give me a reason because his system couldn’t show him because it’s been over 24 hours. Terrible customer service, poor attention to detail, and terrible lack of communication. Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble with having to deal with these unprofessional people.

  I had a few short term loans from Regional a few years ago and went to update my information to coincide with moving to a new location and ask about possibly getting a loan for the holidays. After I updated my address and work information I was told to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. After the customer who came in behind me to make a payment left I went back up to the front desk to advise the clerk that I had to go and would come back to finish talking to someone. It was at that time she advised me that I qualified for up to a loan of $5000. I asked her why did she run my credit because I didn't authorize her to nor did I give her permission. She stated that she ran my credit under the assumption that I was going to get a loan. I again advised her that I didn't give verbal consent nor did I sign anything. I was advised that by updating my information I was giving my consent. That is wrong. It instantly hit my credit report and will be there until it falls off in about 2-3 years. The manager defended his clerk, told me there was nothing he could do after stringing me along for a week. Do business here at your own risk. Uncaring and indifferent to their mistakes. Have to fight with corporate now.
