  So my Elderly parents (in their late 70's) , who can't get around good, called me last night and said they needed groceries. So I drive an hour to them today. They didn't have cash, so instead of taking them out in all this, I had my dad write a check to me for cash and I went to their bank, which they've been with for well over 20 years. My parents don't have a whole lot of money..the lady at Regions Bank in West Point was very rude and would not cash their check to me unless they could take a $5 fee from it, because I didn't have an account with them. Said that my parents would have to come up there. I tried explaining to them that this is not my money, and if you take $5 from it then you are taking from their food money, and they are not able to get out and come up here, nor do they need to be coming up here. She proceeded to tell me that basically, that was not her problem. I said a few ugly words to her and left with the check uncashed. My point being, my parents have been with Regions Bank since I was a little girl, and they couldn't help them out in their time of need, and instead just tried to take from their food money. Regions Bank DOES NOT HELP THE ELDERY!!! I eventually got their groceries, with no help from Regions bank!! A bank they've been with for decades! They'll be switching soon!
